About Jackson County
Jackson County is located in Florida’s panhandle, along the border of Georgia. This agricultural county is predominately covered in farms and pastoral countryside. The county seat is Marianna, which is the most populated area in Jackson County. The county is most known for the vast river systems and numerous springs. Blue Springs Recreational Park is the most widely known of the springs. This park has picnic grills, pavilions, swimming in the springs, and paddleboats for patrons to use. Jackson County is also known for the Florida Caverns State Park, located just north of Marianna.
