Termite, lawn service and heat pump service policies are paid and are transferrable. Satellite dish, wire for cable, and broadband internet is available.
Keep your lawn green with automatic watering system drawing from the river. A circular drive makes for easy access and parking. This shady lot has large oak trees and is located at end of dead-end street in quiet neighborhood. Lot is last one in community and adjoins a large 4-acre property.

Putnam County abounds in natural beauty and wildlife. The 310-mile St. Johns River bisects the county on its way to the Atlantic Ocean. Lake George, the Oklawaha River, Rodman Reservoir, and Lake Crescent may all be accessed in Putnam County, as well as many smaller lakes.
It is centrally located between St. Augustine, Daytona Beach, Ocala and Gainesville. Nearby are Jacksonville and the attractions at Orlando. Ravine Gardens and Dunns Creek Park are among the many state parks.
Fishing (particularly for black bass) and boating are the prime recreation here. Weekends and Holidays see many boats on the river, and there is plenty of space for all.
Putnam County is a friendly place, where strangers wave as you pass, and the checker at the grocery passes the time of day with you. Its quiet, laid-back atmosphere makes it a popular place for vacations, weekends or retirement. Several supermarkets, Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart, and K-Mart in Palatka provide ample opportunity for shopping.
Local events include the Blue Crab Festival, Azalea Days, Blue Grass Festival, Blueberry Festival, Catfish Festival, Mug Race (sailboats), and the Battle of Horse Landing Civil War Reenactment.
Pristine beaches on the Atlantic are available just a county away at Crescent Beach, St. Augustine Beach, and Daytona Beach. Airports are at Jacksonville, Orlando, Daytona Beach and Gainesville. A local airport serves for private air traffic.
Putnam County has a rich history. The Timacuan Indians were here when naturalist William Bartram recorded his journey through the area in the early 1800's. Major poets have written about the beauty of the St Johns, with one calling it "Xanadu". The St. Johns River served as the major highway for Florida through the 19th Century. Rear-wheel steamboats ferried Northern tourists from Palatka to Silver Springs to enjoy the natural beauty.
The plentiful wildlife includes alligators, turtles, eagles, osprey, herons, limpkins, sandhill cranes, foxes, deer, wild turkeys, and many songbirds. The St. Johns River is a flyway for migrating birds.
