OK - I must admit I was skeptical......but WOW....to have a listing in the MLS, and a bunch of other Real Estate sites. Then for just a few dollars more - have my own agent schedule all appointments,negotiate with the buyer,prequalify the buyers, setup the title closing.....it was FANTASTIC!! If you were worried like me about the cost of all those commissions being paid - do NOT go the "Buy Owner" route. My friends did and they still have their homes for sale - whereas I had at least a dozen showings - three offers and had a contract in a few weeks. The sale closing took longer than expected - and the buyers raised every problem conceivable (Appraisal issues, A/C issues, Radon Gas, roof, and on and on...) - but Keith (my agent) walked me through it all and we finally closed a week later than planned......it all ended up working out GREAT........Keith was worth EVERY DOLLAR!!!

Get listed on the MLS, control your commission to the selling agent, still be able to sell by owner and possibly pay no commission; definitely save 2-3% comission from the listing agent that usually doesn't even sell your home, but pockets your comission. In the difficult real estate market of 2006-07, Addvantage was a key, professional partner in making the sale!
