About Pace
Pace is northwestern Florida’s fastest growing community. This unincorporated city had a population of just under 2,000 residents in 1970. Today, Pace boasts a population of about 53,000 people. Most of the residents commute to Pensacola, Whiting Naval Air Station, or Milton (the county seat of Santa Rosa County). The schools of Santa Rosa County have been awarded “Best in State” due to their #1 ranking in FCAT scores in 2010. The major road that crosses Pace is Highway 90. This is the entertainment/business district for the city. Pace has easy access to Interstate 10.
