About Oldsmar
Oldsmar is a city located in Pinellas County Florida. The estimated population as of 2008 is 13,401. Oldsmar's history dates back to 1913 when a man by the name of Ransom E. Olds bought over 37,000 acres of land to establish "R.E. Olds-on-the-Bay".The name was later changed to Oldsmar then in 1927 changed to Tampa Shores and in 1937 back to Oldsmar. Every years Oldsmar celebrates its history by having what is called "Oldsmar Days and Nights". Both residents and visitors enjoy car shows, carnival rides,and parades.
