What is the MLS?

The MLS, Multiple Listing Service is NOT one database of all homes in the entire country. There are over 67 separate MLS databases in Florida alone and over a thousand in the US. Each individual MLS is a database of all properties listed by Realtors® within a certain geographic area. Realtors must pay dues to access the homes for sale listings as well as other information such as “Sold Data”. Because it is costly for Realtors to join the MLS, they typically only belong to the one in their immediate area that they are “farming”. Therefore an agent in Colorado cannot see homes for sale in Florida. This is why it is imperative to be listed in the correct local MLS where your home is located.

GetMoreOffers.com guarantees to input your listing in the correct local MLS for your home's location. It's not enough to be listed in a neighboring MLS system. It will do you no good to be listed in an MLS that agents will never see when working with buyers in the area where your home is for sale. (see our MLS board coverage)

How flat rate MLS listing works

For Sale By Owners save as much as 6% by listing flat fee MLS because the listing side of the commission is eliminated. As opposed to paying a full service agent 6% which will then get split between the listing agent and the buyer's agent, the listing side is replaced by a minimal flat fee. YOU decide how much commission to offer buyer's agent side. Sellers typically offer 2%, 2.5%, 3% commission, and sometimes even 4% to get more attention.

Unlike full service, with flat rate MLS listings, you also have the opportunity find an unrepresented seller and pay no commission at all!

Your flat fee listed home gets the same exposure as a full service agent's listing

Your home, condo, villa, townhome, vacant land, or residential lot will gain exposure in your local MLS, Realtor.com, Homes.com, MSN, Yahoo Real Estate Classifieds, Zillow, GetMoreOffers.com, and 100's more by owner sites. We also flat fee list property for rent in the MLS. Since we are technology-driven, our For Sale By Owner MLS listings get more Internet advertising than they would get with most full-service agents.

Read reviews posted by our flat fee MLS clients about our high degree of service excellence and see why GetMoreOffers.com is your best choice for By Owner with flat fee MLS listing.

How does GetMoreOffers.com gain access to the MLS to list your home?

In order to input listing on the MLS, one must be a Realtor. Our network of real estate brokers have agreed to act as your Realtor to get your home listed. They have agreed to do by acting in the capacity of non-rep agent, meaning that you are self-represented. Your flat fee MLS listing agreement will specifically outline the duties of both you and the agent who is listing your property in the MLS.
