Orlando Flat Fee MLS firm, ADDvantage®, fielded 900+ nights/weekend calls

Flat Fee MLS listing service, ADDvantage®, has fielded over 900 after hour calls from buyers and Realtors® in Orlando, Orange County and other Florida cities over the past 12 months.

ADDvantage®, offering Orlando flat fee MLS service, was founded in 2005 as a consumer friendly flat rate MLS service. One principle that ADDvantage®'s creators felt strongly about was offering phone support after “standard business hours.” ADDvantage® is the only Orlando flat fee MLS service that publishes its extended hours of operation on its website.

“When we started ADDvantage® in 2005, I had already been a licensed Florida Real Estate broker since 1985 and had already had been through the slow 80's, was a real estate broker in Miami during the 90's crazy growth and created ADDvantage® with the foresight of the 2005 looming real estate bubble.

My partner and I wanted to create an online discount real estate company that delivered more to consumers than other companies. I had already been offering flat fee MLS Florida listings in 1999 on a small scale and had previously been a software developer, so starting an online real estate company was right up my alley.”

When ADDvantage® launched in 2005, the first day of operations we had 3 things to offer:

  1. 9:00am-6:00pm 7 days a week phone support. My sales background lead me to this rather crazy phone support because I always believed real estate sales were such big ticket items that one missed call could mean the loss of one important sale.
  2. Street Smart ADDvantage®, our Realtor® to Realtor® high buyer's agent commission system.
  3. Software to maintain & track our MLS listings efficiently.

From there we have grown to offer 4 innovative flat fee MLS plans, we have built the most sophisticated MLS listing software of any full-service or flat fee company in Florida, built our own contract tracking system and now just introduced a contract-to-close system to track our ADDvantage® Plus™ clients' closings.

What's next for ADDvantage®? We will continue the 9:00am-6:00pm 7 days a week phone support. It has been a costly feature for us but it works. Over the past 12 months, our after hours phone support has forwarded 503 weekend calls and 480 that come into ADDvantage® before 9:00am or after 5:00pm during the weekdays.

We are starting a state-wide full service component to ADDvantage® next month which will encourage agents in Orlando to come join our fast growing real estate company. We will back up our full service agents with the same unprecedented phone support.
