This waterfront community of single family homes has one major entry street to its secondary streets -- all of which are cul-de-sacs. The major entry street is 79th Street South which continues on to enter Yacht Club Estates, a sister community. Causeway Isles is strictly a residential neighborhood with no businesses or retail establishments located within its boundaries.

Causeway Isles, along with its sister community Yacht Club Estates, is a residential waterfront community located as far west in the City of St. Petersburg as you can travel on Central Avenue. It is a mid-1950s "dredge and fill" area, and most of its homes were constructed in the '50s and '60s. Causeway Isles western boundary is the Treasure Island draw bridge and the Intracoastal Waterway; its eastern boundary is another channel of water and the small Treasure Island Causeway bridge known as the East Bridge; its northern boundary is Boca Ciega Bay, and its southern boundary is also a water channel plus a small bridge to Yacht Club Estates. Land boundaries are Causeway Blvd. North and 79th Circle South.

As a strictly residential area, Causeway Isle does not have business or commercial properties. Causeway Isles Neighborhood Association was founded in June 1999 and received its incorporation on June 24, 1999. The major challenges in Causeway Isles are traffic calming on 79th St., two beautification projects, and work with Treasure Island on the impact of bridge reconstruction on the neighborhood.

The bridges around Causeway Isle are owned and maintained by the City of Treasure Island. Since 1955, based on an Agreement with the original Causeway Isles Developer and the City of Treasure Island, each lot owner of Causeway Isles pays an annual Road Tax of $10.00 to the City of Treasure Island. This tax is for the use of the Eastern Portion of the Treasure Island Causeway.

Streets in Causeway Isle are Central Ave, Causeway Blvd S, Causeway Blvd N, 79th St, 1st Ave, 2nd Ave, 3rd Ave, and 4th Ave. Causeway Isle borders Yacht Club Estates and Treasure Island.

Directions to Causeway Estates: Head south on US-19 S toward Via Granada. Turn right onto Central Ave N. Turn left onto 79th St S. Slight right to stay on 79th St S. Turn right onto 9th Ave S.
