The Realtor Association of Martin County's main headquarter is located at 43 Southwest Monterey Road, Stuart, FL 34994. Martin County was created in 1925 and was named for John W. Martin, Governor of Florida from 1925 to 1929. Its county seat is Stuart, FL. Martin County is 1/3 of the region of Florida known as the "Treasure Coast." The Treasure Coast stretches from Hobe Sound to Sebastian through Indian River, Saint Lucie, and Martin counties. The name was derived from a number of Spanish ships that wrecked off the Florida coast during the 17th and 18th centuries.

The association is as well an Ambassador to the new Belize National Association of Realtors. Originally this association was name the Fort Pierce Board of Realtors when it was chartered in 1922. In 2004, the Association undertook a name change to become REALTOR® Association of St. Lucie, Inc. Port Saint Lucie, one of St. Lucie County's major cities, is home to the New York Mets spring training and Florida Atlantic University's Treasure Coast Campus.
